I've been enjoying my time walking my delightful Chocolate Lab, Molly, who I've had the pleasure of caring for since she was a rescue pup at 6 months old. Having recently started photographing dogs, I now have the flexibility to expand my services and welcome other furry friends on our walks and photo shoots. Our adventures take us to picturesque spots such as the Braid Hills, Mortonhall Estate, The Hermitage of Braid, and Blackford Hill, where we can find the ideal location for your portrait or walk.
Portrait shoots can easily happen at the weekends so that your working week isn’t disturbed. My approach is to first meet you and your best friend and discuss how best to capture their personality and where best suits achieving that. We can also discuss which wall-art solution works in your home.

In consideration of safety and comfort on walks, I keep group sizes small and can match dogs based on their size. Our walks generally take place in the mornings and at lunchtime, but I'm more than happy to accommodate any specific requirements, including solo or puppy walks. I prioritise creating a harmonious fun walking experience by pairing dogs of similar sizes, allowing the smaller ones to feel secure and at ease. Upon returning, I ensure that your beloved companion's paws are tidied and their water bowl is replenished. When we meet prior to the first walk please let me know if your furry friend prefers the company of smaller companions or requires leash assistance if their recall isn’t perfect. Additionally, informing me about any dietary preferences or restrictions, as well as their affinity for treats, is greatly appreciated.
Each location offers a unique and enjoyable experience for our furry friends. Molly delights in chasing balls in open spaces, while she transforms into a water-loving adventurer near bodies of water. Whether it's a leisurely stroll on flat terrain or an invigorating hilly hike, we are always ready for a memorable outing.

BB: Our dog started weekly walks with Brendan in April and we highly recommend him to other owners. We’ve noticed a real improvement with our dog’s behaviour on the lead since he started walking with Brendan and we know he is in safe and reliable hands.
TK: We’ve been walking dogs with Brendan since his dog Molly was very young. We’ve always been impressed with how he anticipates her behaviour as the surroundings and other people and animals vary and change on the walk. We would happily trust our dog with Brendan.
SR: I would highly recommend Brendan. He has been great with our Lab X Collie who has a little too much energy. He has been so patient and really taken the time to get to know him. The photos that he sends are incredible and Mac can’t wait for his walks. Brendan has also been really flexible with us as well which is much appreciated in a busy family.
MH: Brendan took on our dog at very short notice after we moved and has been thoroughly excellent. Prompt, reliable and excellent communication. Our boy gets super excited to go out with Brendan and comes back absolutely knackered, which is exactly what we want and exactly what he needs. The magnificent photos that accompany the walks are the cherry on top. Would recommend to anyone.
JB : I would always trust Brendan to walk our much loved doggo. If I was a dog I’d love to go on walks with Brendan - I’d feel safe and have fun sniffing and exploring and I’d know he was watching out for me.
